Climate of Corfu

Corfu boasts a typically moderate mediterranean climate, though precipitation rates and humidity levels are high due to the northwesterly situation.

That said, days of rain are limited to an average 1 to 5 during the months between May and September and temperatures usually exceed 20°C with approximately 12 hours of daily sunshine.

The winters are still quite mild with highs ranging around 10°C, but the precipitation rates increase sharply raising overall humidity levels to 70%.

The most recommendable time for a trip to Corfu is in May and June, when everything is in full blossom, the days are predominantly sunny and yet the heat is still pleasant.
