Corfu Beaches of CorfuThe best beaches on the island are located on the western coast of Corfu. In addition to Mirtiotissa Bay, often praised as Europe's most beautiful beach, there are other nice beaches on Corfu too. Especially worth seeing are the beaches in Glyfada on the western coast, the little pebble beach of Missaka in the northeast and the beach of Kontogialos in the proximity of Pelekas on the western coast. Molos is another excellent swimming beach in the South close to the village of Alikes. The island's largest beach is on the northern coast between Acharavi and Roda. |
